Medical Representative Job

We are looking for a persuasive medical representative to promote and sell company medications to doctors, pharmacists, and other relevant healthcare professionals. The medical representative’s responsibilities include persuading potential customers to purchase company medications, identifying prospective business opportunities for the company, and providing the relevant departments with customer feedback. You should also be able to attend company meetings and training sessions.

To be successful as a medical representative, you should be able to demonstrate excellent customer service skills and build rapport with potential customers. Ultimately, an outstanding Medical Representative should be able to continually meet or exceed the company's sales targets.

Medical Representative Responsibilities:

• Selling the company's medications to doctors, pharmacists, and other relevant healthcare professionals.
• Scheduling appointments with doctors, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals to promote company medications.
• Developing an in-depth understanding of company medications.
• Building and maintaining good business relationships with customers to encourage repeat purchases.
• Following up on leads generated by the company.
• Preparing presentations for potential customers.
• Researching competitor’s medications and their respective market performances.
• Keeping abreast of new developments in the medical field to determine the effect of such developments on the company's business strategies.

Medical Representative Requirements:

• Qualification - Bachelor's degree / Higher Secondary.
• Proven medical sales experience / Fresher’s
• Proficient in Computer Applications
• Valid driver's license (2 Wheeler)
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Excellent organizational skills.

PSG Technologist Job

Performs polysomnography, diagnostic and therapeutic services, Home Sleep Apnea Test, or patient care and education and works under the general supervision of the Manager and Medical Directors to provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders.

Serve as a preceptor to PSG Trainee and/or Technician in all age groups and settings. 

May need to travel to various sleep lab locations based on department needs to cover patient care and other duties as assigned. 

Competencies include: Perform appropriate scoring of both adult and pediatric sleep studies (15%). Perform testing procedures PSG, titration studies, MSLT, MWT, PAP Nap, HSAT and other sleep procedures, and provide effective care according to UHC Sleep Center protocols (60%). Identifies and corrects machine malfunctions (5%). Collaborates with Sleep Center staff, and members of other disciplines to ensure a strong team and contribute to the achievement of the operational goals of the assigned area (10%). Provides education and age appropriate care to patients and families through the entire age spectrum, including 0 through 18 years, adults, and geriatric populations (5%). Takes responsibility for adherence to professional standards, self-development, and participation in quality improvement activities (5%). Have knowledge of proper use of PPE. 

Nationally credentialed in an accepted health-related field (respiratory care, electroneurodiagnostics, or EMT-P) or 4 year degree program AND Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (or equivalent) with documented proficiency in all competencies required of a Technologist. 

One year experience preferred. Certification by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists or equivalent required. Knowledge of scope of practice and thorough understanding of the basics of patient monitoring and care delivery. 

Proficient knowledge of scoring requirements following AASM Standards.
